Royal Hua Hin Golf Course is Thailand’s oldest golf course and one of the most historic golf destinations in Southeast Asia. Located in the heart of Hua Hin town, next to the railway station, the course offers a classic and heritage-rich golf experience that reflects the early era of golf in Thailand.
Established in 1924 during the reign of King Rama VI, the course was designed by Scottish railway engineer A.O. Robins. Originally built to serve railway workers, foreign residents, and the Thai aristocracy, Royal Hua Hin is considered Thailand’s first 18-hole international-standard golf course. Over the years, it has been renovated and improved while preserving its traditional layout and old-world atmosphere.
The 18-hole, par-72 course features a classic parkland-style design with mature trees, natural terrain, narrow fairways, and small elevated greens. Unlike many modern championship courses, Royal Hua Hin rewards accuracy and course management rather than distance, offering a more traditional and thoughtful round of golf. Some holes also provide views of Hua Hin town and the Gulf of Thailand.
With its vintage charm, historic setting, nearby railway station, natural surroundings, and highly accessible location, Royal Hua Hin remains a special experience for golfers visiting the city. Facilities include a renovated heritage-style clubhouse, restaurant, pro shop, driving range, practice greens, golf cart service, and caddies.

Black Mountain Golf Club
Pineapple Valley Golf Club Hua Hin, formerly known as Banyan Golf Club, is one of Thailand’s most highly rated championship golf courses. Located just a short drive from Hua Hin town, the course is known for its beautiful mountain scenery, ocean views, and memorable layout built on former pineapple plantation land.
Opened in 2008, the course was designed by Pirapon Namatra of Golf East, one of Thailand’s leading golf course architects. Originally operating as Banyan Golf Club, it was rebranded as Pineapple Valley Golf Club in 2024 to reflect the area’s local heritage and its connection to the former plantation landscape.
The 18-hole, par-72 championship course stretches approximately 7,361 yards from the championship tees. Its layout features rolling hills, pineapple groves, mountain backdrops, and ocean views from several holes, creating a scenic yet challenging golf experience. The signature par-3 15th hole, with its panoramic sea view, is one of the most famous and photographed golf holes in Hua Hin.
With its strong course design, natural setting, and premium championship feel, Pineapple Valley Golf Club offers a refined golf experience for leisure golfers, groups, and golf holiday travellers visiting Hua Hin.
